WebEx End of Contract on August 9, 2021

Office of Information Technology (OIT) announced last summer, the University’s Cisco WebEx subscription will end on Monday, August 9, 2021. Starting August 9, 2021, faculty, staff, and students will be unable to log in to the UT Dallas WebEx site and will be unable to watch or download previously recorded WebEx meetings.

Faculty, Staff, and Students are encouraged to use Microsoft Teams for video and audio-conferencing needs. Faculty are also able to utilize Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.

ACTION REQUESTED: If you have recordings in WebEx, OIT strongly encourages you to download these recordings and upload them to OneDriveStream, or Box before July 31, 2021. After doing so, please delete them from WebEx. You can find instructions on how to download and delete recordings. Additional reminders will follow for faculty and staff who have recordings in WebEx.
