OIT is aware of an issue affecting some external calls to the University to be disconnected and is working with Microsoft for a solution. Calls to our Service Desk are functioning normally. We will provide additional details as they become available.
Hardware – Student Technology Initiative
The Office of Information Technology has partnered with Dell to provide exclusive discounts on a wide selection of laptops, desktops, tablets, and computer accessories. The listed configuration meet UT Dallas minimum specifications for students.
Minimum Hardware & Network Specifications
OIT recommends the following minimum specifications on laptops (Apple and Windows based) in order to use applications required. As a best practice, we recommend using a laptop newer than 4 years old.
