UT Dallas External Phone Calls

OIT is aware of an issue affecting some external calls to the University to be disconnected and is working with Microsoft for a solution. Calls to our Service Desk are functioning normally. We will provide additional details as they become available.

Campus Network Building Refresh

UT Dallas has launched a project to completely refresh the networking equipment in our campus and satellite buildings. This refresh will provide the additional capacity and features needed to meet the demands of a growing Tier 1 research institution. The project will leverage the existing 100Gb campus core network infrastructure to redundantly connect every building to a high throughput and low latency network while providing maintenance and support for at least the next 5 years.

We invite you to check this page often to follow our progress as we continue to make our way to all areas of campus. We will be proactively scheduling this work to happen in waves and have partnered with Cloud Ingenuity who will be providing implementation services. You may see us in your building, in classrooms, offices, and hallways making notes or installing equipment to better serve you.
