OIT is aware of an issue affecting some external calls to the University to be disconnected and is working with Microsoft for a solution. Calls to our Service Desk are functioning normally. We will provide additional details as they become available.

Service Desk
The Service Desk is your go-to resource for campus technology questions. We assist students, staff, and faculty with a wide variety of issues. Walk-in support is available at all of the TechKnowledgy Bar.
Computer Labs
The OIT Computer Labs provide Windows and Mac computers loaded with a variety of academic and productivity software. We also provide walk-in technology support as well as Cometprint support. Additionally, we offer poster printing, docking stations and group study areas for students. Visit the OIT Computer Labs page to learn more.
Desktop Support
Desktop Support is charged with keeping systems running safely and seamlessly across all schools and departments. We provide UTD’s community with maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and consulting services for software and devices.
Desktop Engineering
Desktop Engineering provides Endpoint support for all of campus. Be it a Windows Endpoint, Apple Endpoint or Conference room Endpoint, our team looks for the best way to support these devices’ access to campus resources while maintaining the device’s security posture. We also provide expert support to Distributed IT and campus labs so that they can better support their users.
Emerging Technology Support
The Emerging Technology Support team enhances technical understanding across campus by providing timely support, training, innovative outreach, staff consulting, and relevant resources on emerging technology at UT Dallas. Review our service catalog for assistance.
IT Service Management
The ITSM team develops and maintains the University’s IT Service Management (ITSM) tool, currently Atlas TeamDynamix.
