How to Recover Deleted Emails / Calendar Events (Microsoft 365)

Procedure

Deleted Items

  • To restore items from your Deleted Items folder, open Outlook > Deleted Items.
  • Right-click on the item  you would like to recover and select Restore.
  • If you do not have the option for Restore, select Move > Inbox.
  • There might be some emails that you cannot find in the Deleted Items folder.
    • If so, select Recover items deleted from this folder to go to Recoverable Items.

Search

  • To restore items using the Search feature, search for the message in the Deleted folder.
  • Right-click on the selected items > Restore.
  • If you do not have the option for Restore when right-clicking, select the item and select Restore in the panel on the right (next to the delete icon).

Note : The recent;y recovered folder only contains content deleted within the last 28 Day rolling period.
