Exciting Opportunity for UTD Cloud Computing Enthusiasts
The UT Dallas Office of Information Technology (OIT) is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Centers to bring an exclusive cloud practitioner training program to our campus. This initiative is part of the AWS Ready Comets (ARC) Program and is designed to empower the Comet community with valuable cloud computing skills, live cloud practice sessions and tips for the AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam from the experts who create the test!
The program is open to all UTD students, faculty and staff, regardless of major or academic level.
Event Schedule
Sessions will be held virtually from 1 to 3 p.m. every Friday, March 21 through April 18.
- Becoming a Cloud Practitioner – Cloud Services
- Session to be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 21, and Friday, March 28.
- Becoming a Cloud Practitioner with Practical Labs
- Access to the lab environment will be granted to registered learners. A two-hour open session for questions and review of the labs will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
- Exam Readiness – AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Session to be held 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 11, and Friday, April 18.

- Complete the interest form. The application deadline is March 21, however seats are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
